Connie Polman Tuin

Canadian Olympian in Heptathlon for Los Angeles 1984

A gifted track and field athlete, Connie Polman Tuin has won medals at almost every level. A Canadian National Junior Champion at 16, an interscholastic Canadian 100-metre hurdle record holder and finally a Canadian Olympian.

In 1984, Polman Tuin was selected to represent Canada at the Los Angeles Olympics, placing 16th across the two-day competition. Following retirement ahead of the 1988 Olympics, Polman Tuin moved to mentoring the next generation of track and field stars.
